Design of zeolite catalysts for specific catalytic processes, including studies of structure, sorption properties, acidity of the catalysts, as well as testing their catalytic activity in laboratory conditions. Zeolites act as acidic catalysts of large variety of organic reactions, such as aromatic compounds alkylation or acylation, isomerization or alkylaryles, oximes, esterification, etc., which are used in fine organic synthesis for production of monomers for polymeric compounds, active pharmaceutical ingredients etc.
